What is a Workshop?

UpFlip Workshops are live, in-depth, expert-led courses focused on a single subject.

How long are Workshops?

Each workshop is four weeks long, with each week focusing on a different part of the learning process. This format provides enough time for you to participate and even rewatch the video and process the information before moving on to the next step in the process. 

How do workshops unfold (week by week)?

Our workshops include a four-step process to help you master the subject matter. Each workshop follows this week-by-week format:

- First week, “The Masterclass” - You’ll learn a new concept in 30 to 60 minutes. We recommend attending the initial call, then listening to it later to ensure you retain the information.

- Second week, “Backstage Pass” - This is when we get behind-the-scenes insights into what the expert is doing in the field we’re learning about. This 60- to 120-minute session also features a Q&A.

- Third week, "Member Makeover” - We use someone from the class as an example as we workshop their unique situation, applying the workshop content to their business or entrepreneurial goals for the benefit of the whole class. This 60- to 120-minute session also features a Q&A.

- Fourth week, “Implementation Week” - This is an opportunity for all members of the class to get caught up and dedicate time to how they’re implementing the content covered to their unique businesses and goals.

There will be a dedicated Q&A session at the end of the workshops during which you can ask the instructor any questions related to the topic. If you have a question, you can either raise your hand or add a question to the group chat!

Note that all workshops are recorded and made available to all members of the Academy.

The Masterclass

During the first week, our subject matter expert will teach you the theory behind the new concept during a 30- to 60-minute call. We recommend attending the initial call and then listening to the recording at whatever regular interval is the right fit for you to ensure you retain the information.

Backstage Pass

During the second week, the subject matter expert takes you inside their company to show you exactly how they use the information they’re teaching to get the best results possible. Once they’ve shown you exactly what they do, they’ll take time to answer any questions you have. 

Expect the session to last up to two hours.

Note: We suggest watching this call first, then implementing what you learn before the next session so you can ask questions about elements you haven’t figured out yet during the Member Makeover.

Member Makeover

During the Member Makeover in the third week, the speaker will work with one of the UpFlip members to complete the tasks that were covered during the BackStage Pass. This session will last up to two hours and include another Q&A session at the end.

Implementation

The final week of UpFlip Workshops provides you with an opportunity to catch up on anything you’ve missed and focus on applying all you’ve learned to your unique business or entrepreneurial goals.
